FEAR FACTORY: Looney Tunes Performance To Be Professionally Filmed - Aug. 17, 2005
Pierced Productions, an up-and-coming production company, will be filming FEAR FACTORY's in-store performance at the Looney Tunes CD store in West Babylon, New York on Monday, August 22 beginning at 7:00 p.m. The footage will reportedly be released on FEAR FACTORY's web site the very next day. FEAR FACTORY will play a few songs and then hang around to meet fans, take pictures and sign a few autographs. You need to pre-order the group's new CD, "Transgression", that comes out that night at Looney Tunes to get a special VIP wristband to get into this once-in-a-lifetime event. Check out Looney Tunes' web site for full details.

In other news, Pierced has teamed up with FEAR FACTORY drummer Raymond Herrera's company, 3volution Productions, on many future projects for early 2006. More information will be made available soon.

FEAR FACTORY entered Track Record Studios in North Hollywood, California on May 5 with producer Toby Wright (ALICE IN CHAINS, KORN, SOULFLY) to begin recording the follow-up to last year's "Archetype". In addition to Wright, there is a list of guest musicians collaborating on "Transgression", including bass player Billy Gould of FAITH NO MORE fame. Billy contributes to two songs: "Echo of My Scream" and "Supernova". Also included on "Transgression" is "New Promise", which was co-written with Mark Morton of LAMB OF GOD.

"Transgression" will be released through Calvin Records, an imprint of Liquid 8 Records.

make sure you have an open mind with some of the new FF music! dowloaded it off the web a week ago and some of it is pure unadulterated Fear Factory, some other stuff is out there and should have been left off. Almost like they're trying to garner some commercial success or air time on the radio.

On the contrary, I think the Album is very good. It has its commercial moments but overall I think it is heavy enough!

I thought they were going to do some Bugs Bunny theme music.

ALL HAIL BUGS BUNNY!!!!!

Sadly, the era of politically incorrect Saturday morning cartoons are gone. No more violence, falling anvils and pianos, explosions and general mayhem and gremlins to be enjoyed ever again.

FUCK THE POLITICALLY CORRECT!!!!

Does your tobacco taste different lately?

I too miss Bugs Bunny cartoons on Saturday morning. But if you have cable or satellite, see if you get the Boomerang channel--it's all old-school cartoons and they show Bugs Bunny a lot. I love that shit. I think people who hate cartoons are drab fucking people to be around. Those cartoons are hilarious.

"I love that shit. I think people who hate cartoons are drab fucking people to be around. Those cartoons are hilarious."

Amen to that, dude!!! I wish I could get cable and/or satellite. I live in a forest on the California coast which is packed with oaks, redwoods, firs, madrones and maples. To get a clear line of sight, I'd have to cut down my neighbors redwood tree. I know this because I've tried. :-(

Back on topic, I've heard some good and not so good things about the new FF album. Preliminary opinions range from good to disappointing. SinceI haven't heard any of it, I won't pass judgement. Still, I'll get it anyway when it comes out.
